Lucknow: In a significant step towards strengthening criminal surveillance, Lucknow Police Commissioner Amrendra Kumar Sengar has launched a new initiative titled “Eagle Mobile”, under the Criminal Surveillance and Monitoring Team.
The initiative aims to maintain a close watch on habitual offenders and prepare detailed dossiers on their activities. As part of the plan, two personnel—one head constable and one constable—have been deployed at each police station across the city.
The initiative covers all 51 police stations in Lucknow, where dedicated teams have been formed and assigned specific responsibilities. These teams will not only prepare dossiers on known criminals but will also visit their residences for physical verification and background checks.

To ensure streamlined operations, DCP Crime has been appointed the nodal officer for Eagle Mobile. Furthermore, a control room will be set up at DCRB (District Crime Record Bureau) to monitor and review the functioning of these special teams.
This move is being seen as a proactive step by Lucknow Police to enhance real-time monitoring of criminal elements and reinforce law and order in the city.
